XPS evolved from the need to build better lubricants for engines of the same size that produced increasingly higher horsepower. The "off the shelf" oils just weren't good enough any longer.
IT STARTED WITH ONE
XPS debuted in 1995 with a single premium product: XPS 2-Stroke Synthetic Oil.
Engines were producing more horsepower per cc than ever before, creating more heat, spinning higher RPM's and being pushed harder and longer as riders were going farther on each ride. XPS 2-Stroke Synthetic smashed expectations by maximizing performance without skimping on protection - creating a formula for success we’ve followed ever since.
THE BRP CONNECTION
As the off-road industry evolved and 4-stroke engines became more powerful and sophisticated, BRP knew it was only a matter of time before they began to offer their own high performance lubricants. Because XPS had firmly established itself as a no-compromise premium product, BRP decided to brand its lubricants under the highly-respect XPS banner.
